The intermixing of fashion genres creates suspense. The shirt mixes with the suit jacket and cycling shorts become the modern suit trousers. Naturally dyed fabrics confront industrially refined materials. A return to handcraft and the appreciation of it. Using shaped knitting on the knitting machine as a design method as well as, selectively, naturally dyed felting on silk organza reflects the appeal of modernised textile techniques as the antithesis in clothing design.
