“Jouenan betiyeng jabuayenán” [The Plants that Guide] is a short documentary film that explores the fascinating language of some plant species used in ancestral practices for spiritual guidance and self-knowledge. Through dialogues and interviews with traditional knowledgeable people from different parts of the Colombian territory, the film reflects on how certain plants have accompanied the lives of these human groups for thousands of years and have allowed them to survive in time and space.
