In April 2016 six students and two leaders of the Cultural Spaces project visited Canberra to share and contribute to an educational experience in Art & Design. Gilbert Riedelbauch is a contemporary designer/maker who works with a variety of materials and processes. As a silversmith his background is in traditional metal working techniques, a practice to which he has added digital technologies. As a senior lecturer, he convenes the Graduate Coursework program for Visual- and Digital art and also leads the School’s Foundation Studies Program.
