We recently planted 92 trees, shrubs, grasses and flaxes in our garden to help control a waterway that becomes very full when it rains. Digging 92 holes is hard work, especially in the ground we have which is full of clay, broken bits of rubble and the remnants of previous attempts to control the water including dumped rubbishy fill and concrete. We also removed weeds, including parts of large and spectacular fruit salad plant which by being in the wrong place at the wrong time is considered a weed.
