Venus wants you rotten

The performance „Venus wants you rotten“ explores the topics of corporality, sexuality and desire but also discomfort and experiences of objectification and violence that are
connected to sexuality as a female-socialized non-binary person in a male dominated, binary narrative of sex and body.
The starting picture of the performance is a recreation of Botticellis Venus painting, but in a trashy way. In the first scene I will sit in the plastic shell looking at the audience and let the audience look at me. In a second scene I will read a text, afterwards I will crawl out of the shell. The perfomance ends in a scene of movements, which incarnates certain stereotypical gendered movements and poses, and ends in a sort of creature-like deconstructed dance.
