The working group Performative Archives of the PANCH – Performance Art Network CH was given the opportunity in the autumn of 2017 to launch a broad cultural debate on the archiving and transmitting of performance art. Over a period of about one and a half years five think tanks ( Denkpools / DP ) took place in which thematic priorities were discussed in depth with artists, experts from various cultural disciplines and the interested public.
It was and is important for the AG to regard the artistic view of the archive at eye level with theoretical approaches and thus to rethink the archive from the bottom up.
