It will be once upon a time
(2019)

Inspired by memories, driven by nostalgia along with gratitude for the Western and Serbian contradictions, I have created my own world. A world to share with others as I yearn for a fashion term that is more open, encouraging more courage and self-reflection. In my design process, I question role models and create new fantastic figures that claim their place in the real world. Peau d`âne, the 1970 film adaptation by Jacques Demy, served as an inspiration and design method for my looks. A bold work of fractures and bewitchment, resistant to classification and full of anachronisms. Like in the film, as in my design, I draw positives from the overstimulation of our time, in effect creating a desire for opulence in everyday life. My work is an appeal for more courage and ambiguity.
