The performance reflects upon the history of the use of the camera as an imperial / colonial tool of documentation and the power associated with the it that continues to impact the way of seeing / image making till date.
The artists also challenges the camera and stands up to it. he considers it a tool of imperialism that has trapped many a soul of the colonized, and still continues to further the same gaze and power equation even when it transposes the gaze to other subjects.
